FindMilwaukeeLawyers.org is a non-profit online public service offered by the Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) of the Milwaukee Bar Assocation. This website works to connect individuals in need of legal assistance with resources that are able to assist them.

The LRIS has been in operation for nearly 60 years and in this time has provided hundreds of thousands of referrals to the Milwaukee community.

FindMilwaukeeLawyers.org maintains a panel of 150-200 local lawyers signed up to receive referrals for specific case types. These attorneys are all licensed to practice law in Wisconsin (and often times in federal courts and other states) and are able to competently handle the referred cases. All lawyers have agreed to 1) provide a 30 minute consultation to LRIS-referred individuals for a fee of no more than $20, 2) maintain a current professional malpractice insurance policy, 3) submit to the MBA's fee arbitration for any fee disputes relating to the initial referral made by the LRIS.
